About the event
The Tribute of the American Songbook is a performance brought to you by the VDE Big Band with vocalists Lia Booth and Mark Kopitzke. Lia Booth is a rising star in the LA jazz scene who has just released her new album “Life Can Be Beautiful”. Mark Kopitzke has traveled the world with the Glen Miller Orchestra and currently performs with the swing group Phat Cat Swinger. The VDE Big Band is led by drummer Kevin van den Elzen and consists out of the best players in LA. Together, they will perform the great songs and arrangements made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Sarah Vaughan and many more. 6:30pm-8:00pm Show 5:00pm Doors Open
